Using personal data in research projects: Legal aspects of data protection

"Using personal data in research projects: Legal aspects of data protection" Diana Dimitrova, Internet of Things Week, London 2014

The eVACUATE Project was presented at the Internet of Things Week 2014 conference on on 19th of June 2014 in London.

The session addressed the difficulties that projects experience when working with real data. In this context, real data refers to data that can be lossy, produce privacy concerns, be governed by different national laws, is held by 3rd parties.

The main aim of the conference was to invite projects to share their experiences and discuss the different solution approaches they implemented or are meant to implement.

The eVACUATE project was presented by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law & ICT (ICRI).
