As far as the ICT sector is concerned Milano Ricerche has been developing specific competences in knowledge management, focusing in particular on probabilistic modeling and approximate reasoning along with data analysis, decision support systems and computational machine learning in the following domains:
- Security
- Environment and water management
- Justice
- Logistics
- Sensors networks for ‘’health’’ monitoring
- Urban management
In these domains CMR is actually involved into several European and National projects. Among the European Projects there are: EC-FP7- SEC PROACTIVE “PRedictive reasOning and multi-source fusion empowering AntiCipation of attacks and Terrorist actions In Urban EnVironmEnts” (http://fp7-proactive.eu/) and EC-FP7-ICT ICEWATER “ICT solutions for Efficient WATer rEsouRces management” (http://icewater-project.eu).
